Abecedary of Roman and Italic alphabets, with ligatures and punctuation marks; and a short syllabary, with the Catechism, here adapted for American needs. A note at the foot of p. 2 reads, “The blanks left in Page 6 were formerly filled up with the words (King) and (him); but as that form of expression does not suit our republican governments, the teacher will be pleased to fill up the blanks with what words he may deem expedient”.
