Writing that he is en route to the Yosemite S[unday] S[chool] Assembly and that he has have circulars concerning the C. L. J. C. (Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle) sent to him. Vincent was the Founder, with Lewis Miller of the Chautauqua movement. A Methodist Episcopal clergyman, elected Bishop in 1888 and author of several texts.
