Recording a three-week diary of Burke's hunting and fishing trip up the Saguenay River into the country south of Chicoutimi in early October, 1899. Burke was accompanied by a hunting companion, 2 guides and a cook. His goal for the trip was a trophy Caribou mount for himself and his companion. He was successful.
