A large paper presentation copy, inscribed: "John Rawlinson Esq. / From Mercurius Rusticus." With an amusing ALS of Dibdin presenting the book to Rawlinson laid in:
"May 22/32.
My Dear Sir
Finding that I have no copy of the Bibliophobia upon small paper, I shall be forced to compel you to put up with a Large paper copy of that capricious but orginal performance. It was written 'calamo currentisimo.' [sic] Yours Ever TFD"

Rawlinson is included on the subscriber's list of Dibdin's Tour of Northern England and Scotland (1838).
