Jean de Joinville's Life of St. Louis, a history of the reign of Louis IX of France (1214-1270). Includes an important chronicle of the 7th Crusade, in which Joinville fought. Brunet notes two Geneva printings (1595 & 1596) which conform to a 1547 Poitiers printing, translated from the middle French by Antoine-Pierre de Rieux.
