Contemporary red diced morocco, covers with wide gilt-stamped border of palm and acanthus tools surrounding central onlaid green morocco oval stamped in gilt with large crowned "W" (for Blums' patron, Frederick William III of Prussia) and gilt-ruled rays, spine with raised bands and five compartments, titled in gilt in one, the rest variously tooled with geometric and emblematic tools, green silk endsheets, a.e.g., by H.
