David Byrd designed this piece, which was used as a tour blank for the Rolling Stones between 1969 and 1972, though the tour for which it was designed ended in the notorious Hell's Angels incident in 1970.
Byrd says of this poster: "it was based on one of Muybridge's 'Figures in Motion' against an Islamic motif... Mick Jagger commented that he thought it 'looks like me in drag' ... This poster ... was not included in The Art of Rock."
