Polo strategy by the legendary American player William Boucher Devereux, Jr., 5-goal handicap, who trained the Princeton team. These notes appeared first in Town & Country, and were published in book form as Position & Team Play in Polo (Brooks Brothers, 1924). The preface is by Devereux Milburn, Sr. (1881-1942), 10-goal handicap and one of the greatest polo players of all time.
