Item #300712

One of the great early books of the Nonesuch Press, and Stephen Gooden's second book commission, after the Nonesuch Anacreon of 1923. The fragile binding of the trade issue (later acknowledged by Meynell to have been a mistake) is rarely seen in suitable condition.

An attractive set of a landmark work.
