First edition. Half-titles. 2 vols. 8vo. Hortense de Beauharnais. Contemporary black morocco-backed boards, brown morocco gilt with Veirun at the foot of the spines. Rubbed, upper joint of second volume restored, front free endpaper of that volume lacking and half-title attached to pastedown at gutter, some spotting of text, generally light, else a very good copy.
