Contains the specifications of patents including Freemantle's improvements on the steam-engine as well as those of Mr. Willcox, Atkins' on the hydrometer, Logan's on canal locks and Alderson on lining lead pipes with tin. Among the original communications are articles on Von Gedda's condenser for distillation of Spirituous Liquors, Accum's improved Gazometer, R. Weston's method for improving cultivation in vines, and several articles on agricultural matters. Parmentier's article on Tinctures and Medicated wines is in the material reprinted from other societies as are several articles on platina, agricultural improvements and papers on the preparation and use of several chemicals.
