INSCRIBED on inside of front portfolio, “Hommage amical de l"auteur a M. Lucien Allix / 26 Juin 1929 / H. Rouit”. Rouit was the Artistic Director of the revue Art-Gout-Beauté, and this is a very nicely presented survey of feminine costume through the centuries. The pouchoir plates, in colors and metallic inks, are especially bright and brilliant.
