[iii], and the absence of advertisements from p. , with Eberstadt’s notes of his conversation “Mr. Randall states that he has seen no other copy in this state and can only conclude that it is a first issue preceding the regular first edition. Lindley Eberstadt” and “I discussed and showed this to Mr. Whitman Bennett also and he concurred in Mr. Randall’s conclusions. L.E.”.
