The original typescript of the first page of “Colonel Weatherford's Colossal Failure”, from “Colonel Weatherford and His Friends”, Grand's second book, after “The Silver Horn”. With a number of manuscript corrections in ink by the author. At least one complete manuscript of Grand's exists, for one of his little Christmas books, but for some as yet undetermined reason, manuscript or typescript pages from his major books are almost never seen.
