Connett's records, in pencil, of some 40 trips made along the eastern seaboard in his single-masted sloop, indicating dates, locations/destinations, weather, sailing conditions and events, and numerous remarks concerning happenings on board and on shore. Included are a small snapshot of the boat, Connett's membership card in the Bellport Bay Yacht Club, indicating that in 1942 he was the Commodore, his Coast Guard ID Card, and his card signifying his membership in the Coast Guard Reserve.
