Frazier: “The book does not say Derrydale but it looks like one, and it was produced in the fall of that year at the same time that the Hounds & Hunting came out in time for Christmas. Connett did a number of unusual little pamphlets, folders and booklets...” The title page is dated November 1928.
On the last page of the booklet, Don Frazier has noted “from Connett’s Home, 9/80, via [Ernie] Hickock & Shelley [Spindel] A Derrydale proven by Hildreth Press Cuts”
With a copy of a short letter from the printers, Hildreth & Co., addressed to The Derrydale Press, 1937, sending proofs produced from “the cuts which you returned to us the other day.” The fourth proof is of the illustration for the front cover of the ‘List’, lending authority to Frazier’s identification of this as a Derrydale item.
