A handsome volume of proofs of 81 of the 94 wood engravings for Scripture Illustrated (London, 1807). Three of the cuts — nos. 48, 49 & 51 — were cut by Thomas Bewick. With an autograph note from a British Museum curator identifying the work for which these cuts were made.
