Front of wrapper with full page illustration of Huck Finn by Barbelle. 1 vols. 10 1/2 x 13 5/8 inches. Huck Finn. Sheet music with illustration on front of wrapper, two pages of music and a full page advertisement showing the first page of the music for Irving Berlin's “Mr. Jazz Himself” on the back wrapper. Some marginal tears and creases, some light browning, but a very good copy with a light stamp of an Elmira store in the lower front cover.

Cliff Hess was a composer and author of musical songs and at this time he was Irving Berlin's secretary as well. Lewis and Young, who frequently collaborated, were best known for their music for films. Both were charter members of ASCAP.
