Has been erroneously attributed to Richard Blome; the author Robert Burton was the pseudonym of printer and bookseller Nathaniel Crouch (1632?-1725?). First published in 1685, seven London editions concluding with the present appeared by 1739. Contains accounts of New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Carolina, and the West Indies and illustrated with a charming woodcut map depicting Newfoundland to Florida, and other illustrations.
