Demoustier's letters to a schoolgirl on the sometimes delicate and racy myths of the Greeks were all the rage at the end of the 18th century, and his book went through several editions. This edition resembles that cited in Gumuchian (Brunswick, 1796, 4 vols. in-16, with engraved titles and 4 figures by Schroder).
