Scarce enlarged second edition of a manual of dietetics, by Zuckert (1737-1778), first published by the same printer in 1771. This is a medical guidebook for the treatment of maladies from epilepsy to melancholy, with a description of 80 drinks and concoctions, including a section on chocolate and coffee, and an index. “This second edition was also published as vol. I of Auserlesene Sammlung der besten medicinischen Schriften and Auerlesne Sammlung der besten medicinischen und chirurgischen Schriften” (Wellcome Catalgoue note).
