Connett published two drypoints by Boyer in 1929, and this colored trout-fishing print in 1936, followed by a salmon fishing print in 1937. The Derrydale catalogue noted: “This is the only colored, modern trout-fishing print available. It was carefully planned by Mr. Boyer and Eugene V. Connett to be authentic in every detail.”.
