88 albumen cabinet card portraits of faculty and students (6-1/4 x 4 in.), 8 views of Amherst (7 x 9 in.), with Pach studio stamp printed on verso, in window-mount leaves. Thick oblong 4to. Contemporary brown morocco over beveled boards, with brass clasps, gilt title ("Amherst 82 C.W. Loomis") on front cover. Hinges and spine repaired, rubbing to boards, heavy foxing to mounts with some spotting to images, some wear to mounts but generally sound internally.

Photographic yearbook album for the Amherst Class of 1882, photographed by the legendary Pach Brothers New York photography firm. This copy belonging to Charles Wilson Loomis. In the 1870s Pach begain operating mobile photography studios in the Northeast, photographing the graduating classes at Amherst as well as Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Columbia, Vassar, and West Point.
