A superb example of the Grabhorn expertise, one of the Fifty Books of the Year; Rudolph Koch's Gothic type (Bibel Gotisch) is used here for the first time in America. The Grabhorns intended to offer the book for direct sale, but, after viewing proofs, Bennett Cerf bought the entire edition for Random House. One can see why.
