The Tragedy starred James Warde, Charles Kemble, Mrs. Vining, and Mr. Mears. After the tragedy “The Devil's Elizer; or the Shadowless Man” was to be performed starring Mr. Ward and Miss Hughes. Notices for forthcoming performances are listed on the lower portion of the broadside and a note reading “An authenticated Medical Certificate had been transmitted, announcing that Miss Smithson is detained at Amsterdam by a sever indisposition…” This would be the well known Miss Smithson who married Hector Berlioz.
