A notable First edition. In 1962 the Pforzheimer Library bought the Esdaile notebook, containing fifty-seven poems of which only 14 had been previously published. Inscribed by Pforzheimer on the front pastedown to the great typographer and designer, John Dreyfus: " ... in appreciation for the close cooperation in producing a volume so pleasing textually and typographically; and with great admiration and warm regards - Carl Pforzheimer, Jr. 11/72."
