Contemporary black leather, boards ruled in blind, single bronze clasp. Binding a bit rubbed, title leaf with loss of text at upper corners and a few letters along gutter, laid down. Lacking one leaf [?A2] from the first gathering, , with a stub at A8, but text and catchwords and pagination are continuous from the first gathering onward. A7 and B1 with some loss and old paper repairs. Some slight thumb soiling, generally an attractive volume.
