Attributed by the British Library to James Anderson, writer to the Signet and noted Scottish genealogist and antiquarian. Divided into fifteen sections, it lists works printed between 1480 (Caxton's Chronicle of England and Higden's Polychronicon) and 1722, and includes many atlases, as well as books of American interest.
