This work contains the first engraving (p. 520) of one of the two authentic likenesses of William Shakespeare (the monument bust on the north wall of the Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-on-Avon). The reproduction here is the earliest extant, with the exception of the title page of the first Folio of 1623.
