A binding variant not recorded by Sadleir, with the most obvious difference the author's name on the spine with is in a sansserif type, the gilt bands at the head and tail of the spine are wider and the type on the “Vol. ” is different than those shown. “Chapman & Hall” are in small uniform caps, in a sansserif type.
