Enid Blyton remains one of the world's most beloved children's author whose books have sold more than 600 million copies. Her most famous works include Noddy, Famous Five, and the Secret Seven series. Throughout the twentieth century, Blyton's books have been banned from schools due to their simplistic nature, racism, xenophobia, and sexism.
