Inscription on front flyleaf:“Presented to the Mass Fish & Game Protective Association by John P. Ordway. May 23d 1877.” A penciled note on the same page identifies Ordway as the first President of the Massachusetts Fish & Game Protective Association. With the bookplate of the Association with this note: “Purchased from the Mass. F. & G. Assoc. Jan. 1929 by Dwight Blaney” and the piscatorial bookplate of Dwight Blaney and note $25.00 paid by D.B., valued by C.E.G Westwood & Satchell p. 18.
