Persian Manuscript in Nastaliq Script

In on polished paper. Illuminated with floral decoration heightened in gilt, pages framed in gilt with occasional titles in gilt. 64 ff., of which four leaves have not been illuminated and fourteen are blank. 2-7/8 x 8 inches, [N.p.: n.d., 17th century?]. A later binding (inverting some leaves) with pages stab-sewn and housed in brown morocco covered boards cut from a larger binding. Browning to some leaves, others showing signs of various early repairs at margins.

Manuscript is written in a fine hand, presenting the text in discrete frames within the page that are sometimes oriented diagonally or at right angles to other passages
