Bottom corner torn from pp. 531-2, Signed on the front free endpaper in an early hand, “Thomas Smiths Book”.

Concerning the Franco-Dutch war, with plates showing the fortifications of Dutch cities and European heads of state, as well as the dramatic deaths of the DeWitt brothers Sabin 52347 (for references to the West Indies, Surinam, etc).
