The ABC Surprises

Six tri-fold chromolithographic plates pull open to transform an illustration or reveal hidden pictures. For example "N is the Negro teaching tricks to his dog" shows old black man seated on log and when page is extended a picture of a dog sitting up on his haunches appears. The Plates are dated 1887.
