Woodcut initials, type-ornament headpieces, three section-titles with separate pagination and signatures commencing with The World Contemned, preliminaries bound in order π1 A4 χ4 π2; lacking blank 2G12. 12mo. Modern half calf over eighteenth-century marbled boards, early red and blue speckled edges. Last leaf of preface (χ4) holed with minor loss, small stain on E1v, lower fore-edge corner of F1 lost.
